I know pro gardeners would give you a specific time but I prune whenever needed. Start by removing the lower branches back to the trunk.

Ask the sales people at your local nursery or plant store. They should be able to tell you anything you need that is grown or sold locally. They know their stock and the climate.

I have several Citrus trees, and I do not trim mine at all. I fertilize them.

Lime trees grow slower than Lemon and other citrus trees.

How often to water? I have a drip system on my Lemon tree and I turn it on twice a month, I live in California and no rain for 5 months. But my lime tree I planted I have to use a water hose
