When you peel the paper backing off the peel & stick tile, you're going to get some of the glue on your fingers and it's going to end up on the surface of the tile. The glue is really strong and soap and water just isn't enough.
Acetone is the answer. Acetone is the main ingredient in nail polish remover so you may already have some in the house. Just a tiny bit on a cotton ball, rag or clean paper towel melts the adhesive instantly from your fingertips and from the surface of the tile.
Goo Gone, WD40, or nail polish remover.
"Glue Gone"
I've used Avon Skin-So-Soft. It takes the glue right off.
I've used Avon Skin-So-Soft bath oil. Put some on a rag and go for it.
