Just drape the shirt over your pillow, press down on the edges and cut along pillow leaving a 5/8" seam allowance. Turn right sides together and sew 3 sides, then either put in a zipper or sew the pillow in by hand.
It is easy. Button shirt and lay it flat on a table. Once you decide on the measurements of the pillow, cut it out of front and back. Sew sides together leaving an opening to turn it right side out. Stuff and sew together opening.
Cut across under arms and sew up. Add Pillow or Filler and Sew up the bottom end.
Can't wait to see how yours comes out!
I found this on Pinterest and thought it was a great idea and super easy using the buttons as the opening to insert a pillow form. The idea came from www.onsuttonplace.com.
