Go old school and use sheets. Use king size for sofa, double size for love seat, single sheet for chair. Throw the sheet over the chair, for instance, and start tucking, smoothing and adjusting. Use safety pins from underneath and upholstery tacks if you want. Don't be afraid to use patterned sheets, microfiber blankets, or other large pieces of fabric. And if you want the cushions covered separately from the base of the furniture, buy another singe sheet. You can spray it a few times with Scotch Guard, too. No sewing, cheap if you watch sales, washable and easily replaceable. Best wishes 😇
Recover them! You can do it without sewing. Velcro is the trick.

Buy a clothes steamer and steam them. It will bring the fluffiness of the pillows back! You can buy a steamer from Walmart. I tried steam iron but it doesn't really do a good job.
I've used sheets and depending on how much use it gets safety pins to hold everything in place. You can use sweaters to make pillow covers.
