Just purchased a house in Florida (2 years ago) and was told by neighbor that insurance company repaird leaks. I have discovered some small areas that water has come in the house. The real estate agent didn't divulge this information. Not interested in suing. Am now getting ready to sell and would like to know if liquid rubber sealent will work. Flex Seal reviews not too impressive. Cant afford the major French drain repair. Thank you for your suggestions.

You may not want to sue, but if the buyer finds out you did a temporary job and did not disclose the issue, they might. This is the house foundation!

I would see if the neighbor or realtor knows who did the work and contact them if possible, It may still be under warranty.

You should also heck to see if you have properly installed gutters and leaders that take any rain water away from the house.

We had two slab leaks from plumbing under the foundation. Each time, we had to bring in a plumber to locate the leaks and replumb into the ceiling.
