Zep Instant Spot Remover is an awesome spot remover you can find at Home Depot.
Pour club soda on it and let it sit until nearly dry - then blot. When dry, pour baking soda on it and let sit for a day or so and then vacuum.
Try Natures Miracle available at pet stores
Carol, I have used hydrogen peroxide for all dog stains. I first pour the peroxide directly on the stain and blot, blot, blot. I do that agin until I'm satisfied that I've gotten as much out as possible from the blotting. Then I again pour the peroxide directly on the stain and just leave it alone. The next morning the stain is gone. I use the peroxide from the drug store, not the kind you would use on your hair. Good luck.
Home improvement stores sell lots of chemicalsls for pet stains but the best way to get them out is to rent a rug doctor machine and their pet urine product. If that isn't something you want to do yourself you could always call a carpet cleaning company. To make sure you got the stain out it is a good idea to turn off the lights and turn on a black light- pet urine glows under a black light! Just make sure if you tackle this yourself that you empty the "bucket" out and rinse with clean water several times. Then keep pets out of the room until completely dry and keeping a fan blowing helps speed up the drying process. Good luck !
