Good Morning Yvon, Of course one of the biggest decisions you need to make is what color you want to paint it. Then after you purchase the color(s) and primer (you WILL need a primer to cover the darker color you currently have so it doesn't bleed through) you will need to lightly sand the objects you want to paint, wipe clean with a damp cloth to remove any debris left behind from the sanding, and tape off anything you do NOT want painted (cover large areas well with newspaper making sure you tape evenly and completely around the edges and tape shut any gaps of overlapping paper). NOW you are ready to prime (and let it dry), paint (and let it dry), and apply protective sealant (and let it dry). :) Here is a web link to give you specifics:
