Made a fun and simple craft out of a recycled thrift store cabinet door, a leftover valentine’s candy liner, some CeCe Caldwell’s all natural chalk+clay paint, and Modern Masters paints. Recycled thrift store cabinet door, starting to paint with CeCe Caldwell’s Destin Gulf Green, and Modern Masters Warm Silver.
Here is where the inspiration started.
Draw the outline in paint.
Fill in all the details
Mounting tape for the head. I like the mounting tape because it gave it some depth.
Wet distressing. CeCe Caldwell’s paints are awesome for wet distressing to get that shabby chic look.
Dark where I started the process but will dry to the correct color.
Seal it with a coat of our favorite water based poly.
