A Sailor Dresser

This one is actually called "Conor - The Sailor Dresser"! My son, Conor, wanted it named after himself as it was for his room. I took an old white dresser I had painted years ago for our guest room. I used Paris Grey Chalk Paint® and then used Annie Sloan's decoupage medium to decoupage a free Victorian Sailor Boy from the Graphics Fairy onto the drawers. The post shares how to use the decoupage medium, how to use Annie Sloan Craqueleur, creating water color effects with chalk paint® and using tinted white wax. My son loves his "new" nautical dresser!

Betty819 on Feb 22, 2014That dresser is so cute and unique. Great job! I didn't know Annie Sloan had a decopage product..this lady has got to be a genius and a rich one too! I know she must smile all the way to the bank because so many people are so satisfied with her products. I hope to try her paint product this summer on a 1960's clothes hamper or a piece of furniture.

Finding Silver Pennies on Feb 25, 2014@Betty819 Thank you so much! Annie Sloan is such an amazing and inspiring person. I had the pleasure of meeting her in Boston when she did the tour and she was so humble and so much fun! She truly deserves every bit of success. Her products are fabulous. x

Have a question about this project?
I tried to get this from Graphics Fairy and they said they had nothing that matched my request. Do you have any other suggestions as I really love this sailor.
Thank you and continued success.
