Bondo, Bondo, Bondo!!!

Vintage Pink
by Vintage Pink
I bought this buffet in a dimly lit shop and didn't realize what the paint was hiding!! Since it was painted I thought I would just paint milk paing over it and be done....well that didn't happen. Once I painted it then I could see the damage. I had to completely sand down the entire piece and on the drawer I had to remove all of the veneer back to the orginal wood...at that point some wouldn't come off so I had to use bondo to build the drawer back up!! So once it was all sanded back down to the original wood I stained the top and painted the buffet pink!! yep PINK lol and added in some stenciling. Have you used bondo?? So much better than wood filler I promise

@Vintage Pink great instructions. My only disappointment is in not seeing the pink painted buffet. Would love to see it. You have made me want to try bondo - looks like a smoother surface in the end. Thanks for posting.
