Are fruits and vegetables different just because of the seeds

Are some fruits vegetables and some vegetables fruit. Or are seeds on the determining factor

    The story goes that tomatoes (fruit) were declared a veggie to please the Hunt family, who were giant campaign contributors, and who wanted ketchup to be counted as a vegetable on school lunch menus so they could get richer. Other fruit- veggie mixups were from a lack of information or of taste. Best wishes 😇

    Fruits have interior seeds. Tomatoes, pumpkins, and cucumbers are technically fruit but we use them as vegetables.

    Vegetables have stems (celery), roots (carrots) and leaves (lettuce). Fruits grow on vines (grapes, cucumbers), trees ( peaches, cherries) and stalks (tomatoes, corn).
