I paid 40.00 each. Grew one year nicely. Dead as can be 2nd year. They WERE beautiful.
You could buy a book on the subject and use for reference
I know that if it is wisteria vine, you should prune it to encourage blooming. Prune the top a little and do a LOT of root pruning; root pruning is heavy work, google it.

The season is over I believe, for blooming. This yr. has been a very different one for trees and flowers. Just trim, and prepare for winter. Check with the folks you bought this from, and see if you need to trim for winter.. and how to care for it. Many trees you need to trim for winter, and spray it in the fall. Take care, J.
I have a wisteria vine on my property, planted before we bought the house and previous owners did nothing to control it. As a result it has choked & killed 3 beautiful pine trees & is now trying to work on an Elm tree. Cutting the back does nothing to stop it. Any suggestions?
probably a graft -- and if you are pruning it you may be cutting off 'next' years blossoms --- try https://ask.extension.org -- they may be able to help.
