I see so many things tried, and I'd really love to know the correct (and easiest) way to clean a microfiber couch.

Norwex Envirocloth is this amazing product that will get your microfiber cloth looking like new! I highly recommend it.
I use disenfect wipes. They work great
I used clear window cleaner (or Windex. Both will work without leaving spots or rings) and a microfiber cloth. (A white terry cloth will work if you don't have a microfiber cloth.) Spray window cleaner in a small area and gently rub in circles with the cloth. Spray and clean as you go. We had a cream colored couch and over-sized chair. This worked great on our furniture.
Hi Brandi,
I have had this problem in the past, but fortunately I discovered that microfiber is an excellent fab’rik and is very forgiving.
If your furniture is like mine was, that dark spot is not actually from water, it’s still part of the stain. Also looks like it might be towards the back of the cushion where it hasn’t properly dried out yet…
I found that a cloth with very very hot water, as hot as I could stand was the best. Repeat repeat and rinse and rinse and you’re stain(s) should come out.
If that does not work, you could try and old standby commercial favorite called Folex. They sell it at Home Depot and probably other home-improvement stores.
Last resort is to have a professional carpet/upholstery cleaner come to your house who uses a hot water extraction method. I actually had my couch done on one occasion… The company just tacked onto carpet cleaning and it was basically free.
Good luck!
My mom says she uses rubbing alcohol on hers, just sprayed on, scrubbed with a brush, and blotted back up with a light colored cloth.
