well Carol you have come to the right place in me! My daughter does that. She hangs her wreathes until they sell when she boxes them up and ships them off!
Hello Carol; I have a multitude of wreaths that I have made, and I use them during the year.
I place each in a large plastic bag. I then add padding, between the bags. I then place them in a large plastic bin.
They are out of the way, and are safely stored.
I hope that this helps you!!! Take Care!
You can find boxes with a see through panel on the lid - that way, you can store your wreaths, stack them, travel with them, etc. and when they sell, use bubble wrap for protection and send them off.
collect big box's like toilet tissues, etc. cut to fit, cut them down to each size that you need. tape the sides to fit. make lids out of rest of box.

Hi Carol, Great question. I have that problem every year and I only have one wreath. Every year something falls off, it gets smashed, etc. I ended up using bins but wasn't selling them. I was able to put other items in with it for storage. I would strongly suggest movable storage if you are planning on transporting them. Take a look at the store - The container store. They have some options. Not sure money is an issue but there are also plastic container.
