This is a plant I don't know the name of but it is a water plant with long single stalk and a spiky top that looks like a green Fireworks burst . How do I winter this.?

This is a water plant with think stem up to six feet with a fireworks looking burst as the flower. What is it and how do I winter it inside
That is papyrus. It will die back and come back next season. This is what the egyptians made paper out of.

Looks like the Egyptians could have used them as fans. Very unusual plant that I have never seen before.
BUTOMUS UMBELLATUS (Flowering Rush), looks like this too!
King Tut papyrus plant. Available thru pond plant suppliers everywhere. I have tried to overwinter in the house in brite sun with no luck. If you live in s. Florida they probably live year round. They do not survive frost . Very decorative in the pond.
