Naomi Grace at Pieces of Grace Restyling on Feb 19, 2014Thank you, from what I've been able to find, yes, it is a butlers tray table, Mahongany from around the late 40's. Trying to find mfg. I don't think it's a Kittenger? And I also haven't been able to find one with the scroll work. On the legs there seems to have once been a brace?? wood pegs in holes near bottom sanded down smooth. Still searching.Helpful Reply

Barbara Turner on Feb 20, 2014Well, whatever it is, I hope you don't chalk paint it. Just lightly clean it, Old English it and lightly decorate it with a few choice objects maybe from the time period of it's origin and admire it! NICE table! Where did you find it?!Helpful Reply
