You can plant marigolds- they hate those!
Also, sprinkling soap shavings help! They get one mouthful and don't return, just remember to replenish after it rains bc they'll wash away- best of luck :)

You didn't say if they were pests in your gardens or if you just don't like them around. This sounds crazy, but at Christmas I put the netting lights on bushes out front. One warm winter day, I quickly untrimmed as much as I could, but didn't get all the bushes untrimmed. Come spring, the deer had stripped a number of my shrubs, but the bush with the remaining netting was untouched. Might want to cover your bushes and have the holiday spirit all year. LOL. I have been told sprinkling human hair around keeps them away. Haven't tried it so can't attest to the practice. There is a product on the market that is specifically formulated for keeping deer away from plantings. Most hardware and big box lawn and garden stores carry it. Some say it works, others not so much. Also, told by a woman that she has her husband tinkle around the gardens and that keeps them away from plants. EWE!! This is totally gross and I definitely haven't tried it, but she swears by the method. The deer are feasting on my hostas like mad this summer. I, too, could use a reliable method to deter them, short of sending my husband into the bushes. Good luck!
