Grain Sack Inspired Curtains From Drop Cloths & Best...no Sew!

One of our guest rooms in the cabin has twin beds, rustic, and youthful. At least that's where I keep the toy box. We needed curtains. Not for privacy since the room is upstairs and we live next to the woods, but guests usually are uncomfortable in a unfamiliar place without curtains.
I didn't want to spend a lot or sew at all!
So, I bought three 6 x 9 drop cloths to cut in half for three windows. I also bought one 9 x 12 for a shower curtain. Guests like shower curtains too!
I had everything else needed for the project. A little black paint, painters tape, a small paint roller, and an afternoon.

Denise Esposito on Aug 14, 2014Love that you painted the drop cloths. Big lots has the canvas drop cloths at a very good price.

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
What kind of paint did you use? Where did you get that roller?
these are great and I'm just about to move to our new farm and this is what I'm doing. Here's my question: you must have washed the drop clothes first? Or no?
Have you washed these after the paint?? If so, how does the painted hold up???
