1830s Farmhouse Turned Into a 21st Century Green Home!
I absolutely love old houses.Sparkling new buildings, no matter how pretty and detailed they look, will never catch my eye or capture my heart like an old house. It pains me to see so many great old homes get boarded up and vanish into blight. When I see things like this 180-year old farmhouse being preserved and turned into a model of 21st century energy efficiency,I get really excited. I really believe preserving and rehabilitating existing homes and communities is the way to solve housing problems in cities.
