Spring Has Sprung Burlap Wall Decor

Even though it’s technically winter, it feels like spring in California. This weather got me inspired to get a start on my spring projects.Last fall I did a personalized name plaque for my niece for her birthday. You can see that project here. The flowers are from Lori Whitlock and I purchased the design through the Silhouette on-line store. I loved working with these flowers so much, I decided to use them again. Both the flowers and letters were cut with my Silhouette Cameo. The paper is from DCWV called “Lemon Flower Stack”. I love the bright and cheery colors of this stack. I screamed spring to me.The burlap flowers were made with a gathered burlap ribbon that I purchased at my local scrapbook store, Scrapbook Island. The various ribbons, bling, and glitter, are constants in my “stash”. Look for a step-by-step tutorial on how to make these paper flowers soon. In the mean time, I hope you are inspried to start your own spring project.
