Hi Stephanie, Here's a link that may help! https://www.cuteness.com/article/cat-hair-off-comforter
Good luck!
There is a pet hair remover sponge (mine is blue) which is sold in Bed Bath & Beyond (about $5) and it seems to work pretty good
Put it in the dryer on the "air" setting with some dryer sheets and a pair of clean tennis shoes for about 45 minutes.
vacuum
Dryer sheet.
I use a Norwex Lint Mitt on mine. It works great, but you have to contact a Norwex consultant to order one. It's the best thing I've found for removing hair, lint and even some fleece pill.
Ah, the battle of hair! I have 6 dogs, 6 cats in my household - hair is a daily battle no matter how much you brush them. I have washable comforters just for this reason. In the summer I toss an old king sized sheet over the bed, in winter I have a bunch of throws. Easier to swap out sheets and throws in the wash than constantly washing the comforter itself. Or you can vacuum with the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner.
Try a vacuum, with the brush attachment, that should work. Good Luck!
Personally, I put my comforter in the dryer for a few minutes. It freshens it and the lint trap catches the hair
Depending on the fabric and how bad it sticks, try a slightly damp wash cloth. I have a shedding ankle biter that sleeps on my bed and I cover it with a sheet to keep the comforter clean and no problem with hair. It is easy to launder a sheet, vs. the comforter.
I use a latex throw away glove. Works wonders. When you pull the glove off, the fur gets captured inside the glove. You can get a box of 50 from the paint department....I get from Home Depot or Ace, probably available at many other stores.
I have a furbearing animal sleeping on my bed but he has his own blanket so he does not sleep on the comforter at all. It is easier to was his blanket than it is, in my case, laundering a full size quilt. Also brushing your animal frequently might minimize the hair problem.
Try a rubber glove, the kind you use to wash dishes with.
get a satiny- type bedspread or comforter first, gather it up and shake it outside if you want ir use a damp (slightly) rag and wipe off.
I use the red velcro lint brush on my white duvet cover for my dark grey kitty. https://jet.com/product/detail/90bf46077c2e4a55a26a1d79d19a0430?jcmp=pla:ggl:NJ_cons_Gen_Household_Supplies_a3:Household_Supplies_Laundry_Other_Laundry_Care_a3:na:PLA_784505252_41365548152_pla-305748964779:na:na:na:2&code=PLA15&pid=kenshoo_int&c=784505252&is_retargeting=true&clickid=33a595da-fe06-4e02-b3d4-9f982708a6a9
And her having her own pillow on the bed helps too. I make mine from an old fuzzy bathrobe, and a mylar cool bag from the Dollar Tree, inside. It reflects her heat back at her and she likes the crunchy bag noise.
