Yup! Like vinegar and boiling water instead of harsher chemicals to get rid of those pesky weeds :)

Hi Jeanette, I think there are a lot more of a variety in vegetables. A lot of hybrids too. I'm not sure if this is a better or worse thing.

Organic gardening, although there are still a few die hard things that some of us still do that aren't totally organic. There are a lot more different plant varieties available to everyone now, and it seems like there are a lot more heirloom varieties available too.

Your best bet to see true organic gardening is to look it up on the internet. It is simply using natural things to care for your garden instead of using chemicals, to make things better for you. I still use miracle grow and preen, but nothing else except for a calcium spray for my potted tomato by the house. I don't use chemicals for bugs, etc., when I pick veggies, I like to nibble as I pick, if a cherry tomato splits when I pick it I eat it, when I pick my green beans I am always munching on them the whole time.
