What is your question about dining chairs that were reupholstered?
reupholstering is very easy to do, choose the fabric and normally 1 yard for 2 chairs. Unscrew chair bottoms and take old fabric off and if the seat padding is good you can go right over it and if not you can buy batting or pre form foam chair seats at Joann fabrics or hobby lobby and use staple gun. I Just did mine a couple months ago and here's what I did if I can do you can too!!

Be sure to use plenty of tacks to keep the fabric tight to the bottom, but leave a little slack so it won't give just a bit when used.
