We tore up the floor tiles in our house and it just seems to e such a waste to throw them away. They are a foot square in a beige color. I have some gardens outside but anyway we can redo these tiles would be wonderful. I have chips, sections and whole tile.

Indoor tiles cannot be used for outdoor projects, they will never stand up to the elements. Perhaps make coasters,or wall art with the tiles

Donate them to Habitat for Humanity Restore or even a thrift store like Goodwill or St.Vinnies have a household section for recycling home goods.

You can put them on Freecycle, org join for your city/state and then post a message Offer. They will come pick them up, Same on Craigslist if you post free someone will come pick them up.

I would advertise them for free for a child in the neighborhood who has a tree house or play house to put them down. Most neighborhoods and small towns have garage sale sights on Facebook where you can offer such things for free or have a garage sale site that would allow you to donate them to some children. You could sell them if you choose, but some children would probably be thrilled to get them to decorate their play house.

Maybe create a mosaic step stone path alternating with squares of whole tiles. Have fun!

I had some leftover tiles and I put felt pads i under neath and use them under my plants to put on wood tables in case any water leaks out, it won't ruin the wood. Also use them as hot pads during the holidays to set hot foods on.
