put mulch down so the seeds don't touch the soil
Pull them when they are tiny following a rain when the ground is soft.
On craigslist I have seen something interesting...an offer for free plants, flowers or small trees to anyone who wants to pick them or dig them up themselves. I have seen daylilies, hostas, baby oak trees, sweetpeas and
even succulents. Why not try it? The ad is free and someone may love to get an instant garden for only sweat equity. Good luck!
