Roni Gilpin on Feb 22, 2014I don't think it is a good idea to paint the inside of the shower. I don't think any paint will stand up to repeated soakings with water. I would recommend putting up a prefab acrylic shower insert or cement board and tile.Helpful Reply

Jill on Feb 25, 2014If you are taking about the shower stall itself, and it's made of fiberglass, it's best to contact a company that refinishes showers, tubs, and sinks. (Same goes for tile.) They stuff they use has to set for quite a while (usually a few days) before you can actually use the shower again. It's not a simple do it yourself job in my opinion, and easier left to a professional who will guarantee the work. If you are just talking about the prefab walls in a modular/mobile home that look almost like wallpaper on them and the boards are put together with tack strips between them, you can paint them with a semi gloss latex paint, just like you would use in any bathroom.Helpful Reply
