canna lilys - they have a bulb type root system, generally you plant them in ground. there are full ht cannas 6-8 ft and dwarf canna 3-4 ft tall. i have the latter ones growing in a pot. planting instruction should come with them https://www.almanac.com/plant/cannas

one more time....my posts keep disappearing again. You will need to cut the hard outer layer of the seed, then soak in water, then plant. Less tha 2 percent of the seeds will grow.
