My freezer is not that old, but the drawers have busted. Tried buying new but no longer available. Has anyone had the same problem and have a solution for me.

    Have you called the manufacturer, to see if they have any? Although new ones aren't available, try calling an appliance store that just sells only parts. These one owner stores probably get parts from the old refrigerators that they take away. Or call 1-800-373-3411.this is a toll fee # to get 800#s. Ask for other refrigerator brands, ex. Amana, GE, Westinghouse, Whirlpool. They will give you 3 names on one phone call. See if you could get somewhere with those #s. Send a question again, but with more detail. Most of these manufacturer have universal sizes for all frezzers. That means, all frezzers have the same size drawers. for certain models. Good Luck!

    There is such a thing as a plastic 'welder'. It warms up the plastic enough to be able to repair it. It's sold at Harbor Freight Tools in the welding section. Usually on the bottom shelf.

    Tried on line for part for my model, no one has any.


    Crack down front and sliders broken. Husband tried repairing with fibre glass, held for a while but not repairable now.
