Has anyone tried using chalk paint on 2" window blinds?

I can't imagine why it wouldn't look wonderful, but if you do it right, it is going to be a very time consuming project. Getting paint on the blinds and not the lines will be a job for someone with saint-like patience.
Gee, saint-like I am not...but I once I get started with my chalk paint projects, I can work on it for weeks.....until I love it! So, I guess I'll really have to think about those strings. LOL
