Design on a Dime...Living Room Stage 3

Alright! It's a Take 3 on our living room! Yes, it's changed yet again. I figure it's our first home we've owned and I'm going to go through many trial and errors until I find what fits. However, after we have painted the walls it's been much easier for me to focus on a color scheme, which is whites, aged glass, and shades of green with dark wood accents. It's so chic and I'm loving it. Of course it's not done. I still "need" new chairs and to paint the trim and staircase and picky up a glass case to showcase all of my pretties and then it will officially be done! I do want to share that everything in this room are things I already had and adjusted with some DIY's, I also picked up a few discounted items to add some chic to the room. If anyone can bargain shop it's me!!! I'm telling you with a little hunt and patience you can find and even adjust items you have to create a completely new look for any room! I encourage you to get out those boxes in storage of items and décor you thought you'd never use and diy/upcycle a few to create an entire new space. Mary Smith on Mar 19, 2014I like the curtains also but I would attached the middle and softly draped them back with tie backs! Or put in light colored sheer behind the curtains on another rod if you are not putting up blinds on the windows but than I,m somewhat old fashioned with decor but love the rest of the decor!
