Dining Room Reveal
I'm finally ready for the big Dining Room Reveal! I have done so much in this room and I think the results are pretty amazing!
This is what it looked like in various stages. (Please forgive the terrible pre-blog pictures.)
The very beginning...
The fam is going to hate me for this one but it shows off, amongst other things, the table in its original state, the old chandelier that bizarrely was not centered over the table, and gives a pretty good idea of the bland light beige wall color. Just ignore all the people in there pajamas standing around. (We host X-Mas morning breakfast.)
So, that was the light beige walls & red accent phase. It was actually nice in person I SWEAR! Looking back at these pictures though...YIKES! LOL
My design tastes had changed and that's ok. It happens. You grow, you change, you discover Pinterest and you want to redo every inch of your home.
I decided that I had it with that awful chandelier and needed to paint the walls gray. Nice! But now, the red was kinda bugging me. Man, I wish I had a shot of my pretty table settings though :(
