Need receipe for indoor ants. Safe for pets and will not damage laminate floors thought lemon rind would help, but no!!
Here are a few suggestions:
To kill ants in their colony - Mix one liter of water, one teaspoon of borax and a cup of sugar. Put some cotton balls in the solution and place them in a yoghurt container with holes punched inside to allow ants access. The ants will carry these baits in their home or colony, where they will die eventually upon eating and with the smell of the bait.
Powdered Boric Acid poofed into edges and corners will stop them. Actually, in a pinch, any white powder (such as baby powder or talc) will also do. The Dollar Tree carries the Boric Acid powder.
ive heard if you put cucumber rinds around where theyre coming from it will stop where they enter your home. But you could try diatomaceous earth. It kills cockroaches, ants,, fleas, silverfish, earrings and bedbugs.

a paste of cinnamon and water. Smear it where you see them coming in at. The cinnamon makes them lose their sense of smell. We had them coming in in cracks on our fireplace wall. Nipped the problem in the bud and non toxic for children and pets.
sounds good. How often do you have to do this
I buy Victor's or Ecosense natural Ant & Roach spray, mostly mint, kills em dead on contact, and you can wipe the residue on the counters, spray around doorways, under sinks etc.
packaged cornbread mix that says it is sweetened and put it where they are coming in if you can find it, or even on your counter in a small lid. They will take it to the mound, everyone will eat it and die, they can't digest the cornmeal, but will take it because it is sweetened. Little goes a long way.
Terro is a great and killer, I use it in the liquid form, ants love it and gobble it right up, take it back to their colonies and it wipes them out.
