Ballard knock-off

During one of my recent Goodwill visits I came across two botanical prints. For the cost of $5.95 each, I snatched them up quickly.
I knew what I wanted to do with them. I had seen similar prints in a Ballard's catalog.
I went to work and sprayed the frames with Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze. Afterwards I dry brushed some antique gold craft paint in the crevices and on the edges. That was it!
They might not be prints from originals by a German botanist, but they were hand finished by a German (me). That's close enough for me. And the savings of $249 for two prints are not to shabby either. :)
