How do you seal a loose fitting window screen?
Does anyone have advice for how to repair a window screen? The screen is loose-fitting on the frame.
First by the screen material. Measure from the top to bottom and across. This will tell you how much screen you'll need. Take the two sides of the screen apart, one side will be the frame the other will have the screen on it. Start by removing the screen from the frame. Go across the top with a staple gun an secure the screen. Next, pull on the screen to make it taunt so there are no ripples. Go down the sides alternating, putting the screen on each ach time pull on the screen to make it taunt. When you get to the bottom, secure across, and nail the frame to the screen side. That's it. Good Luck!
