I don't know if it will work with leather (try it on an inconspicuous place first), but I removed a horrible red wine stain from a marble floor by placing paper towels on it and poring hydrogen peroxide on the towels. I just left it to soak and repeated as needed. You would never know a whole bottle of merlot had exploded on the floor!
The only thing I can think of is "Oxy Clean."
cover with powder or baking soda (if it's oily stain) wait a few hours then vacuum. if still remains try a rag with baby shampoo.
If it's oil of some sort stick with the baking soda or even baking powder or baby powder or even a bit of clay kitty litter
If this is a leather sofa--you may just want to try using saddle soap. That's made to clean leather.
Try Ivory soap and water.
HAve u tried oxiclean⁉️✌🏾
