Well, because of Hurricane Irma, our daughter, son in law and 2 grand children had to flee Florida and head to N.C. to stay with us. While they were here, we decided to work on a project together.
Found this little table at a thrift store for $5.00. I love little cross legged tables. This one was painted brown. I sanded the top
We found 2 cute little metal stools at the flea market. My grand daughter helped paint them with white with Rustoleum primer.
My daughter painting the stools.
We painted the table white as well.
I then sprayed some light blue on top of the stools and then rubbed them with brown acrylic glaze.
I stenciled the bird on with blue acrylic glaze and dry brushed brown acrylic stain over.
My granddaughter showing off our work.
This sits at the bottom of our stair.
While she was waiting on paint to dry, my talented daughter created these from stuff I had here. She came up with some beautiful fall decor.
Isn't it beautiful?
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- We used paint, stain and assorted craft items. (The craft items came from dollar stores.)

You didn't just paint a table. You all made a whole homescape! You are a crafty family. Best wishes 😇

Really pretty! So glad they were safe with you. Great way to pass the time and wonderful to see 3 generations of crafters together. ❤
