try plain white toothpaste
Mr. clean white sponge.
Yikes. I'd say try rubbing alcohol, that's usually what I use for wood surfaces (I have boys and understand). Since it's unfinished though, you might have to do it a few times. Oh, and honestly the sun is best at bleaching wood, might be a Plan B. Worst case scenario lots and lots of sanding, or stain it a darker color to mask the ink.
If the ink went in deeply I'm afraid it's a goner! Maybe someone can help on here. Last resort, put a dark stain on it or tile it.
Use a mini mouse sander with a fine grit paper. Might take a little effort. Let us know how it turns out.
I would try Mr Clean erasers, I have used them with success against sharpies on hard surfaces but not wood. If sanding did not work you may be stuck, good luck. :/
