I agree. Just mention the materials/products and let us do the research. Could be your local hardware store or big box store or what ever. May cost a little more but you have immediate access to it with no shipping charge or waiting for delivery. Plus you have your hands on the product to check it out before you buy. I do it all the time. Knock it off with the Amazon ads.
I don't have a lot of time to shop and Amazon literally has everything I can't find in town, and their prices usually can't be beat, and I'm a Prime member so I get it cheap and fast. So pardon me if I help someone else find what there looking for...... I don't know where these people live and what stores are where they live.... so its a way of recommending products that might not be found locally.
What was I was saying is EVERY post now ONLY lists Amazon as the supplier. Several bloggers have mentioned that Hometalk has changed what they originally listed. Look at any recent post...the ONLY supplier listed is Amazon. Kinda strange....
