How to re-stain a previously stained concrete floor?

etching with sulfuric acids didn't work. Opening pores of the cement with a diamond head on a floor sander opened the pores, however the concrete stain is not lasting after using a concrete stain and concrete Stain sealer. I used blue painters tape on the previously re- stained floor and when I pulled the tape off the stain came off also.

I hope you didn't use sulfuric acid, muriatic acid is recommended. Did you test to make sure the sealer was out by pouring water from a cup in various areas to see if it beaded up (sealer present) to just washing over the surface (sealer removed).

Most of the concrete guy use a screen pad on those sanders to remove coatings.

Did you try switching brands? did you consult a concrete guy? I'm concerned you've made it so porous its not holding. Also what is your environment? is the product you use UV resistent.

Yes I switched brands and it is in the house it was a concrete guy who told me how to do it the second time around. I watched utube and everyone seems to have a different method. This is insude which makes a huge difference.
