No! You never cut back hydrangeas unless a stem is dead. You will lose your blooms by cutting back. Old fashioned ones bloom on old wood. If you have the 'endless summer' variety, they bloom on both new wood and old wood, so you could trim, but never cut to the ground.
if you planned to cut them back anyway..keep in mind you will be cutting off next years bloom.
I do not cut mine, and they are fine in the spring.

I agree with the above comments. I always use the old farmer's method when it comes to pruning. From Spring thru Fall, only prune (cut back) in months that have the letter "R" in their name. For example, you can prune in April but not in May. May does not contain the letter R. I have used this method for many years and it has always worked well for me.
