I found a magnetic doorstop at Lowe's Hardware. Works great for my bathroom door, that for 30 years - I had tried all sorts of methods. It made a loud noise, at first, so I softened it by covering it with a little padding.

You don't mention if these are cabinet doors or room doors. Assuming the latter, search Amazon for "magnetic door stop" I used a few of these in my house and they work great.

take only one of the pins out o f the door hinges and tap, do not slam, the pin between two substantial books with a hammer, making it a BIT wonkie. Do not slam the pin Or you'll have to go buy another one!! This is a pet peeve of mine also.

Take out one of the hinge pins and brace one end on a board...tap the middle gently with a hammer to bend it JUST A LITTLE....then tap it back in place. The little "bend" should apply enough tension on the hinge to hold the door open. Like I said JUST A LITTLE...you don't want it to be too bent to go back thru the hinge plate.
