duh get a bigger generator
Gee only thing i can think of is a solar panel with enough storage batteries to run for estimated time to power back on.
You need a bigger generator, or multiple generators, (my girlfriend runs two and hooks up a sump pump and fridge on one and a sump pump, fridge and a light or fan on another), or a whole house generator - pretty expensive.
There are systems you can buy that use a car battery that is kept charged up when the power is on. The battery takes over when there is an outage. Of course, the battery will not last forever without being charged. If the outage is long, you may be without a working pump.
P.S. These systems use one battery for each pump. They won't run multiple pumps. We had one at my house in Chicago when I was a kid. Worked great when the sewers backed up.
