Drill holes, pour salt in them
Cooper sulfate it can be bought at drugstore or hardware store drill into the stump and fill hole the Cooper sulfate. Let the Cooper do the rest.
Drill several holes into the top of the trunk....fill the holes with salt. As the salt washes away in the rain, etc...keep refilling it with salt. This will eventually break down the wood in the trunk and make it easier to remove the stump.
Drill holes into it and fill with a plant killer or vinegar or salt. Just be sure it doesn't wash onto surrounding plants.
The holes and salt method is best, good luck :)
