Updated desk gets a new personality
I picked up this desk and it was a natural stain finish. The client I was working with wanted a deep navy, and even mentioned gold accents. After completely stripping the top, and sanding the base, the top got a coat of Java gel stain and the base was painted Ben Moore's Hale Navy. I used rub n buff to revive the newly added vintage hardware and add the gold detail on the drawers. The chair got a bold new fabric. Looks so rich and sophisticated now!
