DIY Rope Detail Chandelier

Inspired by a Restoration Hardware chandelier, I upcycled my big-box store light fixture with some tape and jute twine to mimic the look for less than a dollar.
I removed each of the plastic tubes from the lightbulbs. I placed three strips of double-sided tape vertically on each tube.
Starting at one end, I tightly wrapped the jute twine around each of the plastic tubes, pressing down against the tape after ever few rounds and winding the rope as closely to the previous row as possible.
I left enough rope at the end of the wrapping to tuck it into the last row for a nicely finished edge, and simply placed each of the tubes back onto the chandelier and added the bulbs back in. It adds a the perfect detail of texture while hiding the cheap white plastic.
