Maybe some water or too much water?
Sounds like to much water to me. You also need to cut back on the amount of water you give it when it begins to Form buds. Try Feeding it Diluted Plant Food Or Place Plant Food Sticks In The Pot Of Soil.
Might be a too little water problem. Or too much sun, try moving it out of direct sun- best of luck :)
