Brick is very easy to paint. I have one brick wall in the kitchen and painted it in a few spots just for the affect. Choose the color you want and paint it to look like it did before the mishap, or go with a different look. I found it was easier to dab the paint on with a piece of natural sponge.

If it is real brick you could try cleaning it with the aerosol version of Scrubbing Bubbles. Let sit a few minutes then wipe off with a dampened towel. It works for soot and dirt, so maybe it will work for water stains too. You can lightly scrub the cleaner with a brush too.

I would suggest some kind of mild acidic cleaner designed for masonry. I am doubtful that regular detergents will work. I would try it in a small unobtrusive area first to make sure the results are what you want.

You can easily clean the flat roof with the help of ‘’Roof cleaner/protect’’ and you will not need to paint it. Roof Protect emulsifies contaminants by effectively removing oil, grease, moss, mildew, dirt, and other soils from the roofing membrane. It also has mildewcides to kill mold growths.
