I like Pinterest. But since I logged on to your site instead of saying , no I don't want to see ideas, I keep getting switched over to your site from Pinteres. Everytime I want to see an article it get automatically sent to your site. I want out or to unsubscribe PLEASE. I just can't find info on it. Thank you.

How unfortunate! You might want to look into this first. Many of us have Pinterest accounts, and this has never happened to me. There is a support tab on the middle right, if you want to address this problem.

    To unsubscribe:

    1. Hover (don't click)your mouse over your picture on the top right of the page.
    2. Click on ACCOUNT SETTINGS,
    3. On the left click on ACCOUNT STATUS.
    4. Choose DEACTIVATE ACCOUNT.
    5. Click on SUBMIT.

Please do! Pinterest has its place, and I like it too, but Hometalk has a real personalized touch.

People save Hometalk projects to pinterest every day. If the original project came from Hometalk, that's where pinterest will send you. I have accounts at both places but am rarely directed to hometalk unless that's where the project originated. I personally don't think deactivating your hometalk account will make a difference. At pinterest every pin will tell you the name of the website. It will say "Article from" or "Saved from". Check where the pin came from and don't choose any that say from hometalk if you don't want to come here.

Of course, many projects do originate at a blog, but the crafter/artist/carpenter/etc. also posts an original to hometalk. It appears that the hometalk version got a higher ranking or more people from hometalk saved the hometalk post than the blog post.

Sorry you feel that you have to go. I personally love it here and wouldn't want to leave any time soon.

    Good luck!

That shouldn't happen. If it continues, click on support on the right and send Hometalk a message. Someone will answer (maybe not on a weekend though - I'm not sure about that)
