Faux Stained Glass to Cover a Problem Window
by

(IC: blogger)
I had dirt or mildew growing in-between two panes of glass in the top of my arched kitchen window. The window will have to be replaced (very expensive) so until I can do that, I thought I would just do something to hide it.
I've been doing some experimenting with faux stained glass paint and thought I would give this larger project a try. I had my son create a template and purchased a 1/8" thick piece of glass cut to fit. Then it was about the right pattern and colors (of course red and white to match my kitchen) and easy peasy, the piece was done. You can read more about it at my blog (http://onmycreativeside.wordpress.com/2014/02/22/the-apple-of-my-eye-kitchen-stained-glass/).
