I would try Restore AFinish. It comes in various colors to match the wood. Wouldn't have used mineral spirits because that tends to strip. You could use lemon o first I'd Snithsr nourisher for wood. My daughters house was flooded once but we didn't have to do anything to wood.
Also a tip dealing with mold. Wonderful product called Monterrey Consan 20. Can be ordered online. We use anytime problem with water.
